November 23, 1952 – December 24, 2022

YOUNGSVILLE – James Stuart Baker, 70, of Youngsville, died Saturday morning.

James was born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late George “Georgie” and Rosa Lee Baker. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marguerite Currin, brother, Ray Baker and infant brother, James Cole Baker.

A celebration of his life will be held 2 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Capital City Church of God. The family will receive friends 1 pm – 2 pm prior to the service.

James is survived by his wife, Lewtisha P. Baker; step-daughter, Dawn B. Marlow and husband, Jason; brothers, Bobby Baker and wife, Libby, Wayne Baker and wife, Carol; sister, Barbara Richards and husband, Cordell; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
