Jacob Thomas Cope

Jacob Cope died peacefully in his sleep at home Saturday, February 17, 2024. Jacob was born and raised in Franklin County. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or just hanging out with friends, you could always find him outside. Jacob brought joy to everyone he met. 

His laid back personality, quick wit, and charm drew people to him. He was a gentleman, always sure to say ma’am and sir. Unless he loved you then it was “What up Playa”. Jacob loved hard, especially his family. He was a mama’s boy and protected her fiercely. 

A celebration of Jacob's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the auditorium of Bunn High School. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside.

Jacob was preceded in death by his daddy (Jack) and granddaddy (Jerry Boone). He leaves behind his mama (Maggie), big brothers (Jeremy and Michael), and grandma (Martie Boone). Jacob had a special bond with all of his Boone cousins, but nothing compared to his love and affection for his Kass.

It's hard to write something that you feel is worthy of him. Because there aren’t any words that could fully encapsulate the human that he was. We love you Jakey Legs.
