February 21, 1951 – July 11, 2020

YOUNGSVILLE – James Michael Joyner, 69, of Youngsville, died Saturday afternoon.

Mike was a son of the late James and Theresa S. Joyner.

Mike’s favorite place to be was at Zebulon Country Club playing golf and being with his friends.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mike is survived by his cousin and caregiver, Stan Joyner of Youngsville; sister, Ann F. McLamb of Raleigh; brother, Jackie H. Joyner of Benson and many nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church, 2960 Tarboro Rd; Youngsville, NC 27596.
