She especially enjoyed her hotdogs from Aubrey’s and seeing Peedie!
Grace grew up and lived in Wendell most of her life going to Wendell High School. After high school she worked at Woolworths in downtown Raleigh as a waitress as her first public job. Leaving there she worked at Mitchell’s Photography and Ivey Taylor’s starting as a salesclerk and lay away, eventually transferring to the accounting department. After Ivey’s move to North Hills Mall, she decided to find work closer to home. She then went to work in a local factory making electrical components until her retirement in 2000.
