Gabriel R. Cribb

Gabriel Robert Cribb, 16, of Zebulon, died May 18, 2022, along with his twin brother, Garrett, in a tragic automobile accident.

Born February 15, 2006, he was the son of Robert Cribb, Jr., and Michelle Evans Cribb. Gabriel was a sophomore at Bunn High School and worked at Rustic Roots restaurant in Bunn.

In addition to his parents, Gabriel is survived by his brothers, Brayden Cribb and Ashton Cribb; paternal grandparents, Robert and Brenda Cribb; maternal grandparents, Terry and Brenda Evans; maternal great grandfather, Norman Schneider as well as many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Alice Hart.

Gabriel was a member of the wrestling team at Bunn High School. He was known for his kind heart and pure intentions. He always helped others and helped people to see it doesn’t take much to be happy. He was the most respectful and kind hearted young man you would ever meet. He was hard working and determined to reach his goals. He spent a lot of time with his girlfriend, Mary Rose Parsons.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the Bunn High School gymnasium. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held at Bunn Memorial Gardens.
