Obituary

          Faye Bender Morgan, 74, of Zebulon went home to be with her Lord Tuesday afternoon at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Wake County a daughter of the late John and Mary Agnes Rambeau Bender.

Faye worked as a waitress for 14 years with Smithfield Chicken and Barbeque in Zebulon where she always made everyone feel special.

          A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022, in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home Louisburg.  Burial will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens in Spring Hope.  Visitation with family will be prior to the service from 12:00 until 12:45 pm.

          Faye is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard Morgan of the home; daughters, Lori Johnson (Art Mullen) of Spring Hope and Angie Mozingo of Middlesex; son, Dwayne Johnson of Bunn; sisters, Jean Jones (George) of Rolesville and Mary Ann Jones (Milton) of Wake Forest; brother, Johnny Bender (Vickie) of Butner; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
