FAYE M. CONE

          Faye Morgan Cone, 90, formerly of the Pilot community in Zebulon, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday night, September 2, 2020.  She was born July 7, 1930 in Nash County, a daughter of the late Henry Columbus Morgan and Bessie Morgan.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cone and a brother, Wilbur (Jim) Morgan.

          Faye retired from Westinghouse after 33 years of service and was a member of Midpoint Church of God formerly (Middlesex Church of God).

          A graveside funeral service will held 3:00 pm Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Samaria Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tyler Cone officiating.

          She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Cone  and Chuck Gallagher of Landrum, SC and Brenda Cone Sanders and Greg Sanders of Spring Hope; sister, Emily Kelly of Middlesex; brothers, Ted Morgan (Sandra) of Micro and Benny Morgan (Jeanette) of Middlesex; grandchildren, Shawn Pearce (Jennifer), Stacy Pearce Frazier (Cliff), Dale Sanders (Dana) and Jennifer Sanders Edwards (Brent); 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
