July 29, 1932 – December 10, 2025

Fannie Mae Jones Carter Brock, 93, of Louisburg, passed away Wednesday night. 

Fannie was the oldest daughter of the late John and Ora Jones. Fannie was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Carter and Jessie Brock; two sons James Roy Carter, Jr. and David Ray Carter; step-son James “Buck” Carter; brother Willie Ray Jones; and sister Lee Evelyn Nelson.

Fannie is survived by her daughter Alice Fay Jones (Arthur); son John Wayne Carter; step-daughter Brenda Pulley (Carl); sister Roxie Cash; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.     

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Wake Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at other times at 125 Elsie Marie Dr., Youngsville, NC 27596.
