ERNEST “PETE” C. BURNETTE

November 16, 1937 – January 27, 2025

Ernest “Pete” Clemmon Burnette, 87, of Louisburg, passed away early Monday morning at his home.

Pete was the son of the late Ernest Malone Burnette and Mattie Lee Burnette. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Robinson; and brother, Earl Lynn Burnette.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 30, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at Strickland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, at 11:00 AM at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Pete is survived by his son, David Burnette and wife Terri, of Louisburg; granddaughter, Mandi Burnette; special niece, Sheila McClure; and other nieces and nephews.
