EMMITT C. CYRUS, JR.

February 16, 1937 – May 15, 2021

WARRENTON – Emmitt Clonix Cyrus, Jr., 84, of Warrenton, died Saturday morning.

E.C. was the son of the late Henry and Susie Frazier Cyrus. He was preceded in death by his son, Darnell “Otis” Cyrus.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Emmitt is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lois Cyrus; ; daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Regan Finch; son and daughter-in-law, Freeland and Norma Cyrus; daughter-in-law, Shirley Cyrus; sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Carrol and Bobby Choplin; Faye Cyrus; grandchildren, Tiffany Cyrus, Justin Cyrus, Jason Finch, Joe Meyers, III, Nikki Finch and Amy Gilliam; great grandchildren, Autmn Diaz, Amanda Lynn Phelps, Abigail and Savannah Gilliam; great-great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Diaz.
