ELIZABETH ANN HAYNES
March 21, 1939 – April 20, 2024
Elizabeth Ann Haynes, 85, formerly of High Point, passed away Saturday afternoon at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Haynes. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Gann and sister-in-law, Bertie Haynes.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 26, 2024 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory with Mell Pitts officiating. Graveside will follow in the Faulkner Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Jeffrey Scott Faulkner and husband Larry Faulkner of Wilmington; brothers Robert Haynes, Jr. and wife Linda, and Joe Haynes of Minnesota; nieces and nephews Michael Gann (Tracy), Lee Gann, Sharon Gann, Wendy Smith, Jennifer Rappe (Randy), Mike Haynes (Jenny), and Tim Haynes (Phyllis); great nieces and nephews Taylor, Kayden, Meghan Caphol (Jose), Jake, Landon, and many others; and special friend, Ellen Drinkard.
