DAVID PERRY
January 1, 1986 – May 2, 2020
David Perry, 34, of Wendell, died Saturday afternoon in a tragic motorcycle accident. David was born in Wake County, the son of Ivey Sue Kennedy and Dennis Barry Perry. He worked with WACO Electric.
David loved his family and his dogs Kane and Cali, who meant everything to him. He loved life, riding his dirt bikes, motorcycles, and was a big gun enthusiast who loved deer hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé and best friend, Alison Long of the home; sister, Nicole Allen and husband, Larry and their children, Nick, Justin, Jasmine and Bella; uncles, Dr. Willard Kennedy and wife, Joni and their children, Tiska, Katie and Christine, David Kennedy and wife, Michele and his children, Abby, Alex and Lawton, Lewis Perry and his children, Ashley and Rocky; aunt, Sylvia Truelove and her children, Lin, Margaret Ann and Susie; several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Waldo and Ann Kennedy; paternal grandparents, Elvis and Margaret Perry, uncles, Howard Kennedy and Wayne Perry.
Due to the Covid-19 virus the family plans to have a memorial celebration of his life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Wake County SPCA or Johnston County Animal Shelter in David's memory.
