Charles Edward Price, 70, passed away peacefully at home on July 8th. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ruffin Ira Price Jr. and Mary Gladys Price of Wake County, and his brother, Wesley Price and his wife Jan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis, daughters Charlotte Price and Jennifer Dickerson (Chris) of Wendell, brothers, James Price (Elaine), Billy Price (Donna), and Jeff Price.

Charles was retired from Alcatel in Raleigh where he started and retired from a long-standing career in the maintenance department. He will be lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic, his often-repeated stories about his days in maintenance at Alcatel, his joy of hunting, cutting grass, annual beach/lake vacations with family and special friends and sitting on the porch enjoying time spent with family and friends who were like family.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 3417 Rolesville Rd Wendell, NC. The family will receive friends following the service at the Bethany Baptist Church Family Life Center.
