CHARLES EARL LAMM

November 1, 1961 – June 9, 2025

Charles Earl Lamm, 63, passed away peacefully June 9th, 2025 surrounded by his children and close family.

Charles grew up around the Carolinas, where he developed a lifelong love of engines, fishing, hunting, and race cars. A skilled mechanic, he was happiest with a wrench in one hand and a story to tell. He could always be found working on something, teasing his grandchildren, or trying out a new fishing spot. Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family.

Charles was known for his positive nature, quick wit, and the ability to make people laugh. His positive spirit and sense of humor touched the lives of those around him.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Earl Lamm.

Charles is survived by his mother, Janet Breedlove Lamm; his children, Chad Lamm and wife Virginia of Wake Forest, Andrew Lamm and wife Morgan Strickland of Zebulon, and Kymberly Poppenfuse and wife Samantha of Garner; and his grandchildren, Savannah Cooke and husband Tristan, Sheyanne Lamm, Madison Lamm, Jackson Lamm, Jase Lamm, and Jeffrey Lamm. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Pilchard of Georgetown, SC, and nephews, Justin and Jared Pilchard.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th at 4:00p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg, NC, with visitation to follow.

Charles will be remembered for his love, laughter, and the grease on his hands.
