BOBBY B. CHAMBLEE

May 6, 1944 – May 4, 2026

LOUISBURG – Bobby Brown Chamblee, 81, of Louisburg, died Monday afternoon.

Bobby was a son of the late Claude D. and Clellie D. Chamblee. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Faye Chamblee, Annie Bell Chamblee and Margaret C. Faulkner and Clara Chamblee; brothers, Charlie Chamblee, Bill Chamblee, Bruce Chamblee and Willie Gray Chamblee.

The family will receive friends 2 – 3 pm and the funeral service will follow at 3 pm Friday, May 8th  in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Barham officiating.

Bobby is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Claudette and Elton Marshall; Jean and Charles Watkins; Dorothy and William Kaleel and Teresa C. Fowler; brother-in-law, Douglas Faulkner; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Hope Christian Church, Little Seeds of New Hope Christian Church Fund, 2779 NC 98 Hwy., Louisburg, NC 27549.
