ANNA B. CHAMPION

October 16, 1963 – May 10, 2021

KENLY – Anna Batton Champion, 57, of Kenly formerly of Bunn, died Monday morning at Wilson Medical Center

Anna was born in Halifax County. She was a daughter of the late Donald Eugene Batton and Annie Mae Burgess Batton.

Anna was a retired Correctional Officer with the NC Department of Corrections.

Anna is survived by her husband, David E. Champion; sisters, Mary Lynn Batton and Jodie B. Strickland and husband, David; niece, Nicole Lynn Stanley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
