ALICE FAYE BROWN

April 28, 1937 – May 8,2025

Alice Faye Cone Brown, 88, of Zebulon, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday evening at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Nash County and was preceded in death by her mother, Dollie Bell Cone; father, Vester Paul Medlin; grandson, Jason Brown and sister, Billie Mae Bobbitt.

A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at East Wake Church of God with Pastor Tim Hopkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in Middlesex.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday prior to the service from 12:45 – 1:45 pm and other times at the home.        

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Don Brown; daughters, Tammy Brown and Renee Standish (Rick); sons, Mike Brown (Eva), Phil Brown (Stephanie) and Richard Brown; grandchildren, Tony Brown, Chris Brown (Richelle), Tabitha Estep (Adam), Josh Brown, Cheyenne Peterson and Bridget Peterson; great grandchildren, Kate, Chris and Abby Brown, Lucas and Madalyn Rose Estep.
