AILEEN M. HARRIS

June 20, 1969 – February 28, 2026

Aileen Mills Harris, 56, of Louisburg formerly of Henderson, passed away on February 28, 2026, at her home.

Aileen was the daughter of the late Bill Mills and Vivian Mills Hixson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Mills, Donald Mills, Bobby Mills, David Mills and William Mills.

Aileen was proud of the fact she graduated in 2019 from NC State with a master’s degree in social work.

Aileen is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Bill Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Emily Anne Harris and Matthew Woodlief; son and daughter-in-law, Alexander Foster Harris and Campbell Harris; stepfather, George Hixson; sisters and brother-in-law, Alice Elliott; Nancy Brailey; Carol and Jeff Norris; nephew, James Dylan Elliott.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 pm Saturday, March  7th at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately  following the service in the church fellowship hall.
