WILMA COLLINS BURNETTE

April 1, 1929 – June 1, 2018

 

      LOUISBURG - Wilma Collins Burnette, 89, of the Sandy Creek Community, died Friday, June 1.   

         

          Rae was a daughter of the late Percy Lucas and Bettie Pearl Murphy Collins, and a native of Franklin County.

    

          Rae was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Earl Burnette; several sisters and brothers; daughter (niece) Kimberly B. Smith.

    

          A private graveside service was held at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

          Rae is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela B. and Vincent Harris; grandchildren, Tommy Harris (Lauren), Amy Harris Swaney (Paul), Christy W. Lanham (Randy), and Jamey Smith; great-grandchildren, Adelyn Harris, Anna Harris, Benjamin Swaney and Christopher Lanham.

    

          In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations may be given to the Franklin County Animal Shelter or adopt a pet from there.
