THOMAS A. PULLEY

June 14, 1943 – Dec. 1, 2017

ZEBULON – Thomas A. Pulley, 74, went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning surrounded by his family.  He was born in Wake County, a son of the late Alton and Hattie Morgan Pulley and was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Gray Medlin.

          Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at Zebulon United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Pulley Cemetery with Military Honors.

          He is survived by his loving wife of almost 53 years, Vicki R. Pulley; daughter and son-in-law, Deanne and Patrick Buetow of Pilot; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Thomas  and Jessica Pulley of  Lawrenceburg, IN; sisters, Nadine Perry of  Bailey, Dorothy Morgan of  Zebulon and Lynda Medlin of Raleigh; brother, Carl Pulley of  Knightdale; 4 grandchildren.

          In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

          The family will receive friends Sunday 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg and other times at the home.
