SHIRLEY S. PERRY

Sept. 20, 1934 – Feb. 25, 2018

ZEBULON – Shirley S. Perry, 83, went home to be with the LORD Sunday morning.  She was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Marie Thompson Sanderford and was the widow of J.C. Perry.  She was preceded in death by a sister; Loy S. Bunn.

Shirley retired from Westinghouse and after retirement worked 22 years with Strickland Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Bunn Family Cemetery.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jackie Perry-Medlin of North Myrtle Beach, SC; granddaughter, Shelly M. Ragsdale and husband, Mitch of North Myrtle Beach, SC; great grandson, Hunter Ragsdale; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Earl Price of Raleigh, Sybol and Joe Daniel of Wendell, Carolyn and Joe West of Zebulon; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Buster)  and Yvette Sanderford of Bowling Green, KY; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 12:30 – 1:45 prior to the service in the church .
