RAYMOND W. MAY

June 8, 1948 – January 11, 2018

FRANKLINTON – Raymond Wiley May, 69, of Franklinton, died Thursday morning at his home.

Ray was a son of the late Robert W. and Florence P. May. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas Parrish, Edward Parrish and Joseph “Joe” May.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Pam P. May; sons, Ray May of Louisburg; Jimmy Powell (Jan) of Franklinton; sisters, Christine Kreitzer of Youngsville and Elizabeth “Lib” Gupton of Louisburg; grandchildren, Haleigh, Calleigh, Brandon and Lindsey; great-granddaughter, Summer.
