PHILIP L. MURRAY

January 31, 1951 – March 4, 2018

CASTALIA – Philip Lee Murray, 67, of Castalia, died suddenly Sunday evening at his home.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Edith W. Murray. He loved his dogs and was a big Duke Blue Devils fan.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Philip is survived by his long-time partner, Phyllis Best; sons, Jared Murray and Dillon Murray; sister, Wendy Murray (Stephanie); grandson, Riverlee Murray all of FL.
