MAURICE G. COLBERT

January 20, 1932 – November 12, 2017

LOUISBURG – Maurice Graham Colbert, 85, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning at his home.

Maurice was a son of the late John O. “Jack” and Susie P. Colbert. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Marshall Colbert; sister, Edna Sutton; brothers, Wallace Colbert and J.W. Colbert.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Maurice is survived by his daughters, Patricia C. Branch, Joyce C. (Johnny) Pleasants, Pam C. Forsythe, Donna (Fred) Dancy; sons, Freddie (Florence) Colbert, Jerry (Donna) Colbert; sisters, Minnie Wilson and Evelyn (Macon) Jones; brothers, Richard Colbert and Stanley (Von) Colbert; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
