MARY PRICE PHILLIPS

Nov. 11, 1936 – Dec. 22, 2018

KNIGHTDALE – Mary Price Phillips, 82, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, December 22, at WakeMed.  She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Leon Titus Price and Lillie Mae Williams Price.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Williams, son, Robert Sutton, Jr.; grandsons, David Sutton and William B. Faulk, IV and brother, Leon Price.

          Mary was a hard worker, having worked many years at Barham’s Restaurant in Zebulon. She loved her family and friends and would do anything to help anyone.  She had a heart of Gold.

          A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

          She is survived by her husband, Samuel (Sam) Phillips of Knightdale; sons, William B. Faulk, III of Laurinburg and Herman E. Faulk (Sharlene) of Laurinburg; daughters, Robin Glover (Bill) of Louisburg, Lee Bollten (Michael Britt) of Huntersville; daughter-in-law, Deborah Sutton of Zebulon; 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

          The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, NC.
