LOWELL RAY PULLEY

ZEBULON – Lowell Ray Pulley, 83, went home to be with the LORD early Sunday morning at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wake County a son of the late Albert Lee and Merle Sue Boyette Pulley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Brantley Pulley; infant children, Lowell Ray Pulley, Jr., Joseph Alexander Pulley and Barbara Kaye Pulley; brother, Charles Pulley.
He was a retired accountant with Carolina Power & Light Co. and served in the National Guard. Mr. Pulley was a member of Zebulon United Methodist Church and a member of the White Stone Masonic Lodge #155.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday at Zebulon United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Zebulon Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
He is survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Gina Pulley Bryant and Milton, his special grandson, Joseph Bryant; brother, Robert Pulley and wife, Kay; sisters-in-law, Tracey Pulley, Josie Driver (Glenn), Kaye Tant (Elton) and Vicki Manning; numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful boston terrier companion, Mazy.
The family will receive friends 12:00 – 12:45 pm Tuesday prior to the service in the Wesley Fellowship Classroom and other times at the home of Milton and Gina Bryant, 9333 Wakefield Oak Grove Dr., Zebulon, NC 27597.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the United Methodist Women or United Methodist Men, 121 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC 27597
