John Robert Little

JOHN R. LITTLE

Aug. 26, 1924 – May 3, 2019

WENDELL – Reverend John Robert Little, 94, of Robinwood, went home to be with his Lord Friday night.  He was born in Wayne County, a son of the late Alonza Edward and Ruby Dorrity Little.   Reverend Little was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and a devoted Christian.  He was a Minister of the Gospel and a veteran of the US Army.

He was always willing to help anyone, explaining the plan of Salvation

and helping lead services on Wednesday and Sunday nights at Robinwood.

          He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 56 years, Martha Butts Little; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Ed Stiles of Wilson; son. John Steven Little (Tina) of Newport; granddaughter, Alexis Little and great-granddaughter, Lexy Heath.

          A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Rd.,Knightdale, with visitation prior to the service from 10:00 am  - 11:00 am.   Graveside service will be 2 pm Wednesday at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, with Military Honors.
