I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing someone so special is heartbreaking. God(Psalm 83:18) sees your heartache and tears and promises soon to wipe your tears and swallow up death forever, Isaiah 25:8. At times the pain may seem unbearable but you can find comfort in family and friends with hugs, listening ears, prayers for strength. Psalm 34:18; Psalm 29:11

Dear Southerland Family,
My sincere & heartfelt condolences to you & yours in the passing of Iris. She was all that was attributed to her by her obit that appeared in the N&O. If you knew Iris you loved her & she loved you with her heart - such a beautiful lady! I first met her as a research chemist with Westinghouse where Iris was employed. Her smile & the sweet way she greeted everyone made her a true friend with all she came in contact with - truly a beautiful soul who lived by her faith & her loving manner made her a friend.
Most Sincerely with Prayers & Blessings for you - her family.
Clara W. Frazier

I am so very sorry for your loss. Ms Iris was one special lady. I truly loved her and was always so happy to see her when she would come in for her dental appointments. She always made sure to give me a hug when she came in and when she left. She will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family and loved ones.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. Comfort and a sure hope can be found in God's Word, the Bible. Jesus promises that one day he is going to bring back to life all those who have died --John 5:28, 29. Death is not only an "enemy" to those of us who have lost dear loved one in death, but also an enemy to God--1 Corinthians 15:26. The Bible tells us that one day God is going to remove of death that mankind has experienced for thousands of years --Revelation 20:12-13. Then you may have the joy of embracing your loved one again forever, "
