FAYE M. WATKINS

June 16, 1940 – Sept. 21, 2019

          Faye Martin Watkins, 79, of Wendell, went home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning.  She was born in Johnston County, a daughter of the late Robert and Omie Alford Martin and was also preceded in death by a sister, Erdine M. Satterwhite and brothers, Grady Martin and Ray Martin.  Faye retired from the NC Department of Motor Vehicles.

          A graveside funeral service will held 2 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Baptist Tabernacle Church Cemetery,1599 NC 231, Wendell with Pastor Glen Brock and Danny Watkins officiating.

          She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jay McNaulty of Spring, TX; sister, Barbara Jean Sellers of Garner; brother and sister –in-law, Jimmy and Ann Martin of Goldsboro; special friend and caregiver, Phyllis W. Edwards of Wendell; several nieces and nephews.
