EARL W. SMITH, JR.

August 28, 1944 – November 5, 2019

WENDELL – Earl Whitfield Smith, Jr. 75, of Wendell, died Tuesday evening.

Earl was a son of the late Earl W. and Alice S. Smith, Sr.. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Stone and Noah.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at East Wake Church of God. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the burial at Calvary Faith Center, 4825 Rolesville Rd. Wendell.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cheryl J. Smith; son, Smitty Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Glen Keefer; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Dawn Smith all of Wendell; sister, Patricia Ringle of Yorba Linda, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Oral and Laurie Smith of Middletown, NY; grandchildren, Caleb, Kelsey Ethen and Payton.
