DOROTHY MAE AUTREY

June 9, 1925 – February 23, 2019

LOUISBURG – Dorothy Mae Autrey, 93, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning.

Dorothy Mae was a daughter of the late McCoy and Elizabeth Carpenter Stamey. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Kelse” Autrey; daughter, Willa Cash; sons, Ricky Autrey and Lee Ray Autrey; 4 sisters and 9 brothers.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dorothy Mae is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Tom Buetow of Spring Hope; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Cathy Autrey of Oxford; William and Hazel Autrey, Jr. of Rougemont; son-in-law, Badgie Cash of Louisburg; sisters, Shirley Peek, Barbara Ward and Frances Faye King; Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Christian School, 394 Ferrells Bridge Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
