DONALD R. SATTERWHITE

July 29, 1935 – August 11, 2017

LOUISBURG – Donald Ray Satterwhite, 82, of Louisburg, passed away Friday evening.

Don was the son of the late Morris G. “Tootsie” and Eunice S. Satterwhite.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, at Hill King United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Bundy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private entombment service will be held at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, Wake Forest.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Esther H. Satterwhite; daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Bill Beasley of Currituck; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Debbie Satterwhite of Bunn; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Leon Williams of Inez; grandchildren, Jessica Roy (Nick), Zack Beasley, Austin Beasley (Ruby), Will Beasley; Ashlea Satterwhite and Robbie Satterwhite; great-grandchildren, Ava Beasley, Jackson Beasley and Simon Roy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hill King United Methodist Church, 1897 NC Hwy. 39 S., Louisburg, NC 27549.
