DAVID C. HORTON

January 1, 1938 – June 29, 2019

BUNN – David Charles Horton, 81, of Bunn, died Saturday evening surrounded by his loving family.

David was a son of the late Johnny and Linnie J. Horton. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Laura H. Hamlet and Audrey H. Ray.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Bunn Cemetery.

David is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ann Horton; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Susan Horton of Fuquay Varina; Tony and Karen Horton of Bunn; brother and sister-in-law, Walter Herman and Barbara Horton of Wilmington; grandchildren, Emily Horton and Mason Horton.

The family will receive friends 6 – 7:30 pm Monday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
