CAROLYN L. WILLIS

May 9, 1946 – October 16, 2018

FRANKLINTON – Carolyn Lomax Willis, 72, of Franklinton, died Tuesday evening.

          Carolyn was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Terri M. Lomax. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bruce Willis.

          Carolyn was a founding member of Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

          A funeral mass will be held 3 p.m. Saturday October 20th at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass.

          Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Lisa Matzner of Bunn; Pamela (Will) Persinger of Wake Forest; Dawn (P-Nut) Shearin of Louisburg; Gail Willis of Franklinton; Korri (Ernest) Eason of Youngsville; sisters, Angela (David) Matos of Old Fort; Katrina Lomax of Brentwood, CA; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

          In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 593, Louisburg, NC 27549.
