BARBARA S. HARRELSON

July 4, 1935 – December 10, 2019

LOUISBURG – Barbara Shearon Harrelson, 84, of Louisburg, died Tuesday evening.

Barbara was a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Mozelle W. Shearon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph “Doc” Harrelson; daughter, Cindy M. Jones; son, Tony Moss; sister, Kaye Bottoms; brothers, Ben-A Gupton and Jimmie Gupton.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Sunday at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.

Barbara is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Marty and Cathy Moss of Castalia; Barry Moss of the Philippines; sister, Jean S. Bunn of Lecanto, FL.; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Florine Gupton of Angier; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary T. Gupton of Louisburg; Dawn Gupton Rawlings and husband, James of Zebulon; brother-in-law, George Bottoms of Battleboro.
