ANN MULLEN WILLIAMS

May 30, 1924 – Dec. 9, 2019

PILOT – Ann Mullen Williams, 95, of the Pilot Community went home to be with the Lord Monday morning at Rex Hospital.  She was born in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Clyde Blythe Mullen and Bertha Brewer Mullen.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Earl Williams, a son, Wyatt Earl Williams and brothers, O’Deyne Mullen and Maurice Mullen. 

          Mrs. Williams loved her family and friends and was an active member of Pilot Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.  She was a seamstress, retiring from the custom drapery department at JC Penney’s in Raleigh.

          A funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at Pilot Baptist Church with Dr. Don Caswell officiating.  Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

          She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Kenny H. and Gale Williams of Pilot, Margie Williams of Middlesex; sisters, Jewell M. Bailey of Bunn and Bertha M. Kearney of Jacksonville; grandchildren Angel, Noel, Ken, Brandi, Michael, Phillip, and Lynnelle; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

          The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 Thursday at Pilot Baptist Church and other times at the home of Kenny and Gale Williams, 5590 Old US Hwy 64 E., Zebulon, NC
