I just want to wish the family much love & prayers. I will be thinking about all of you. I am so sorry. I thought a lot of Ricky. He was always willing to help. He talked to people in town on my behalf when I was looking for a site for a senior community-even earlier this year. He was always making calls and checking things out when he didn't even have to--just to be helpful. I just talked to him a few months ago when he called me back and gave me advice on selling my Dad's (who recently passed away) vehicles. I will never forget going to the Moose Lodge with Ricky and Debbie when I visited Louisburg-it was a fun time and reminded of how nice and friendly a small town was. I'll always have fond memories of Ricky at the barbecue at the beach place also. You guys are beach neighbors and really like family. Love you all.

Debbie, sending our condolences in the lost of Ricky. Scott and I were Gold Sand Blue Devils in the late 60s with Ricky. He was a friendly guy with a smile on his face. We always looked forward to seeing him at reunions and around Louisburg on our visits back to Franklin Co. Keeping you and the family in our thoughts and prayers.

Heartfelt condolences to family and all his other friends. He was a wonderful person and a dear friend from our days together at Gold Sand Elementary & High School that continued through the years as we've reconnected at All Gold Sand Reunion every other year for awhile now. He will be deeply missed, but will remain in heart and memories forever.

Ricky will certainly be missed by all who knew him. I remember my parents always telling me to buy from Ricky because he was an honest businessman. I pray for peace and comfort to the family.

Wanted to let take the time and let you know how much I thought of Ricky Edwards. His laughter and infectious personality always made me smile. His zest for life brought soo much JOY to all those
Around him. He was the type of person that you wanted to be associated with. I witnessed this first hand as my deceased Uncle , CW Strother , was fortunate to be able to call him friend. He brought so much light to his life in so many ways. There were many a nights that Ricky and Debbie would drop by to visit and bring my uncle a yummy home cooked meal. The poker games at his house were some of my uncles fondest memories. When I heard the news , my heart was broken and the only thing that brought me peace was that those 2 friends were probably already catching up :) During this difficult time know I'm thinking and praying for each of you.
