PAULA HOPE SPEIGHT MARTIN

March 23, 1951 – February 3, 2017

Paula Hope Speight Martin, 65, of 506 M.C. Wilder Road, Louisburg, went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning at her home.  She was born in Edgecombe, County, the daughter of the late Walter Efton Speight and Annie Laura Smith Speight and was preceded in death by a brother, Efton Speight.  Mrs. Martin retired from Micro - Measurements Group in Wendell.

 Funeral service will be held 3 pm Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, Louisburg.  Burial will follow in the Driver Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronnie Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Scottie G. and Elizabeth Martin of Louisburg; daughter, Crystal Martin of Aberdeen; brother, Frank Speight of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah, Maggie, and Lilly Martin.

The family will receive friends Saturday 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Strickland Funeral Home and other times at the home.
