PANSY C. HUNT

December 23, 1930 – May 5, 2016

LOUISBURG – Pansy Cardwell Hunt, 85, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday night.

Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Hunt and son, Ricky Hunt; sisters, Stella Adams Goforth and Florina McGuire Edwards; brothers, J.A. Cardwell; Thomas McGuire and Wade McGuire.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pansy is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Richard Tompkins of Louisburg; Jackie and Lewis Stabel of Kannapolis; Cathy and Truby Oakley of Youngsville; son, Bobby Hunt of Youngsville and his son, Chris Hunt of Raleigh; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Faye Cardwell, Rufus and Mildred McGuire, J.C. and Joan McGuire; Billy and Edna McGuire; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
