LONNIE D. HUNT

June 14, 1957 – September 10, 2016

LOUISBURG – Lonnie David Hunt, 59, of Louisburg, passed away Saturday morning at his home.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Hunt. Lonnie was a logger and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Franklin County Trail Blazers.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Brenda F. Hunt; son, David Hunt; daughters and son-in-law, Holly and Jimmy Floyd all of Louisburg; Kelly R. Hunt and friend, Jonathan Harris of Warrenton; mother, Martha I. Hunt of Louisburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Betsy Hunt of Louisburg; Scott and Marsha Hunt of Roanoke Rapids; Andy Hunt and partner, Don of Burlington; grandchildren, Foster, Drake, Hadley and Tucker.
