KIRBY R. THARRINGTON

October 11, 1948 – July 16, 2016

LOUISBURG – Kirby Ruffin Tharrington, 67, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning.

Kirby was the son of the late Ruffin Tharrington and Enid P. Edwards. He was preceded in death by his son, Kirby Tharrington.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Kirby is survived by his brother, Lee Hunt; nephews, Taylor Hunt and Dylan Hunt; step-father, Sterling Hunt; aunt, Shirley Ball; uncles, Sam (Mae) Pernell and Ernest “Hickie” Pernell; and many cousins.
