Judith Norlene Richardson

September 8, 1939 – October 31, 2016

ZEBULON – Judith Norlene Richardson, 77, of Massey Rd., went home to be with the LORD Monday afternoon at her home with her children by her side.  She was born in Nash County a daughter of the late Johnnie L Strickland and Nannie Bryant Strickland. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years on August 13, 2015, sisters, Ruth Jeffreys and Lou Nell Stone a brother, Fred C. Strickland.  She was a wonderful homemaker and beautician who loved caring her family. She worked on the farm with her husband providing for her family who meant the world to her.

A graveside funeral service will be held 4 pm Wednesday at the Bryant Family Cemetery on Debnam Road, Zebulon, NC, with Pastor Jim Robertson officiating.

She is survived by his devoted and loving; children, Anthony Troy Richardson, Tonya R. Wrenn and husband Mitchell, John Kevin Richardson and wife Christy and Christopher Lance Richardson; brother, John Dexter Strickland and wife Dianne; grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Wrenn, Cody, Brandon and Kaylee Richardson, Jax Evans, Eli and Gabriel Richardson; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Wilson Medical Center Hospice and staff and to their caregivers, Tina Webb, Brenda Joyce Kale, Elaine Merritt, Pearlene Allen and to family and friends who have been there to help them through their time of needs. We could not have made it without you and will always be grateful for your love and kindness.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Union Hope Baptist Church Family Life Center and other times at the home.
