JUANITA B. NASH

September 9, 1931 – April 1, 2016

Juanita Best Nash, of Louisburg, daughter of the late J.T. and Lucy Pernell Best, passed away Friday afternoon.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at White Level Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Juanita was a lifelong resident of Franklin County. She was a member of White Level Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and serving on the hospitality committee. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, especially fishing with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ervin, Talmadge, Bryant, Charles Howard and George Best. And by her sisters, Irma Best Wood and Edith Best Ferrell.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willard Nash; children, Sheila Nash Leonard and husband, Mark; Kent Nash and wife, Rhonda, all of Louisburg and Gaye Nash Stallings and husband, Jim, of Greenville. Sisters, Emily Best Proctor of Greenville and Judy Best Staley of Louisburg, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to White Level Baptist Church,  Building Fund, 2400 White Level Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.

Visitation will be held Sunday 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
