JOHN R. FOSTER

July 27, 1936 – May 7, 2016

LOUISBURG – John Royster Foster, 79, of Louisburg, passed away Saturday morning.

John was a son of the late Hubert and Etta Mae “FaFa” Foster. He was a retired farmer.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Annette “Ann” G. Foster; son, John M. “Johnny Buck” Foster of Louisburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda Paige and Keith Collins of Louisburg; Pamela F. and Brian Perry of Bunn; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda F. and Lonnie Hunt; brother and sister-in-law, Ben D. and Hazel Foster all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Tyson Collins (Lynda), Tabitha Collins, Lacy Jo Foster, Katlyn Perry and Wesley Perry; great-grandchildren, Abby Lynn Collins and Collin Alston.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 111 Laurel Mill Centerville Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
