LOUISBURG – Jimmy Clifton “Snaz” Harris, 79, of Louisburg, passed away at his home Monday afternoon.

Snaz was a son of the late Royster Thomas Harris, Sr. and Alice Clee Hunt Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie L. Harris.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Snaz is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Beverly H. and Wayne Wheeler of Louisburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy H. and W.G. Ayscue of Louisburg; Betty Sue H. and John Rice of Henderson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Royster and Rochelle Harris, Jr.; Donald and Glenda Harris of Youngsville; Richard “Ricky” and Swannie Harris of Louisburg; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; K.L.H. and C.P.H. know that you were loved.
