HAROLD V. WOOD

July 3, 1935 – October 20, 2017

LOUISBURG – Harold Vincent Wood, 82, of Louisburg, died Friday morning.

Harold was a son of the late, Henry Raymond and Sallie Mitchell Wood.

He was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church, a successful local business owner of Woods Home Furnishings for over 50 years, and an avid motorcyclist.

Harold was a loving husband and father, a doting granddaddy, good brother and friend to all.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Louisburg Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bonnie F. Wood; son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Donna Wood; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Lynne and Brad Person; grandchildren, Ashley Bailey and husband, Chris; Wesley Wood; Jessica Baker and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Walker Bailey and Luke Baker; sisters Katherine Brigman and Emily Rose Angel; brother and sister-in-law, Garland and Janet Wood; and 3 nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 730 Louisburg, NC 27549.
