EUGENE P. DAVIS

January 28, 1933 – April 19, 2017

LOUISBURG – Eugene “Gene” Perry Davis, of Louisburg, died April 19, 2017 at Wake Med.

Gene was a son of the late George W. and Mary Lou C. Davis. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford Davis and G.W. Davis.

He served in the Army in the Korean War.

Gene is survived by his loving wife, Goldie B. Davis; daughter, Terry Boone of Henderson; son, Mike Davis (Kathy) of Rocky Mount; step-daughters, Wendy Taylor (George); Cindy Wynne (Mike); Tonya Currin (Dwayne) all of Louisburg; sister-in-law, Peggy Davis of Louisburg; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
