ELSIEPHINE F. WRIGHT

JANUARY 10, 1923 – JANUARY 26, 2017

WAKE FOREST - Elsiephine Fuller Wright, resident of “The Lodge at Wake Forest”, passed peacefully Thursday morning after several years of declining health and injuries due to a recent fall.

            Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur L. Howell of Louisburg, and her former husband, Horace W. Wright of Oxford. 

            Preceded in death were her parents, Rufus Fuller and Beadie Lee Cash Fuller of Louisburg, son, Bobby S. Howell , daughter-in- law, Deborah Joyner Howell,  daughter, Frances Ann Howell Minnich; sisters, Hazel Wheless, Ruth Mae Wilder, Zelma Denton, Catherine Hayes; brothers, Floyd David Fuller, James Hubert Fuller, Leo Edward Fuller, Ballard Fuller. 

            Mrs. Wright is survived by her children: Tommy Howell (Ella) of Rolesville; daughter-in-law, Evelyn L. Howell Louisburg; John Howell (Mary) of Butner; Janie Raper, Youngsville; brother, A.C. Fuller (Mary Ann) of Louisburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

            In earlier years, Mrs. Wright enjoyed many days working with her flower gardens and raising vegetables. She took great joy in staying busy and being independent.  She was previously employed by Murdock Center in Butner and Oxford Orphanage in Oxford prior to retirement.   She raised her children in the Maple Springs Community of Louisburg.

            The family will receive friends and family to celebrate her life Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg at 2 PM with a short service with Pastor Phil Brantley at 3 PM, followed by interment at Lancaster Memorial Park.

                        Special thanks to Transitions Life Care (Hospice) staff and doctors located at 250 Trinity Rd. Raleigh, NC 27606, for the awesome care they gave to Mrs. Wright and the family prior to her death.
