CAROLYN JOYNER PERRY

August 29, 1936 – January 31, 2017

LOUISBURG – Carolyn Joyner Perry, 80, of Louisburg, passed away Tuesday evening at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Perry was a daughter of the late Joe and Lola Joyner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Perry; sisters, Estelle Mullen and Frances Cooke; brothers, James Joyner, Cecil Joyner, Joseph Joyner and infant brother, Albert Joyner.

Mrs. Perry was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and was a retired medical secretary.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of Lisa and Ronnie Goswick, 312 E. Mason St. Franklinton.

Mrs. Perry is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Millette and Eddie Sorie of Rocky Mount; Lisa and Ronnie Goswick of Franklinton; grandchildren, Mahler Joyner and Heather Joyner.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
