Barbara Jeffreys Dement, 64, of Louisburg, died Tuesday morning at her home.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, M.B. Jeffreys, Jr. and her brother, M.B. "Jeff" Jeffreys, III.

A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Raymond D. Dement; mother, Anne G. Jeffreys; sister, Debbie Jeffreys all of Louisburg; many nieces and nephews.
